On June 10, 1966, Capitol Records launched "Operation Retrieve", meant to recall nearly 250,000 vinyl records from across the USA. The record was The Beatles' "Yesterday & Today", a record now known as the "Butcher Cover" and highly desired by record collectors around the world. Beatles author & historian Bruce Spizer tells the tale of the album and aftermath of the recall.
